He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hicks and Nancy Scott Hicks; and his siblings, Jesse, James, Oscar, John, George, Jerry, David Hicks, Lucinda Vermillion Wright, Elizabeth Hicks, Juila Randall and Virgie Klein.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Miracle Hicks; his daughters, Beth Hicks Young (Andy) and Tracy Hicks Lobertini; his grandchildren, Katie Young Tidwell (Tyler), Olivia Lobertini and Kyle Young (Saarah); his great grandchildren, Charlie and Ella Tidwell; and his sister Sarah Helen Brown (James). He is also survived by Numerous Nieces, Nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
