He was predeceased by: his former wife Patricia Ann McGhee Bridges; his parents, John Bridges and Delphia Sexton Bridges; his stepson Brandon Woodward; and his brothers, Bill and Charles Wayne Bridges.

He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Burress Bridges; his son Jason Bridges (Kimberly); his stepchildren, Jerry Lynn Sherlin (David Scott Sherlin) and Meagan Chitwood; his grandchildren, Johnathan, Abby and Jake Bridges; and his stepgrandchildren, Braylee, Jazlyn and Brennon.
