He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ayers and Pauline Ayers (Hood); and his brothers, Ray Ayers and James Ayers. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ayers of LaFollette; his children, Brian Smith (Mandie) of Jacksboro and Ginger Jackson (Tommy) of LaFollette; and his siblings, Arnold Ayers (Rita) of Clinton, Danny Ayers (Lois) of Jacksboro, Sandra Johnson (Dallas) of Jacksboro and Darlene Albright of Jacksboro. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
