He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cole, Jr. and Beulah Marlow Cole; his brother Jimmy; his wives, Linda Wilson Cole and Brenda Cole; and his great grandchild Blake Scott Cole.
He is survived by: his sons, Rickey Cole (Amber) of LaFollette, Avery Cole (Angela) of LaFollette and James "Jimmy" Cole of LaFollette; his grandchildren, Katilynn Miller (Preston), Robert, Rylee Cole, Aden, Alijah Cole, Haven Cole and Isabella Billingsley (Austin); his great grandchild Elijah Billingsley; his sisters, Ann Ritchey, Lena Raymond (Robert) and Sharon Nelson (Larry); his stepdaughter Joyce Householder; and his niece Amanda Nelson.
