She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McCreary and Evelyn Kitchen McCreary; her brothers, Robert Edward McCreary, Billy Ray McCreary and Chester "Buddy" McCreary; her siblings-in-law, Jerri Ayers Roach Carney, Dorothy Turner McCreary, Haskell "Hack" Ayers, Ray Carney and Joe Roach; and her son John Robert Ayers.

She is survived by: her husband Roy Lawrence; her daughters, Angela Ayers Greeson (Phillip) and Joye Ayers Smith (Michael); her grandchildren, Jessica Ayers (Jay Shannon), Katie Ayers Smythe (Drew), Justin Ayers, Michaela Smith Clawson (Dylan), Noah Smith, Helena Smith, Carter Greeson, Jonah Smith, Lydia Smith, Willa Smith and Emma Claire Smith; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte "Charlee" Smythe, Brooks Smythe and Clawson. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
