She was predeceased by: her husband Dewey Nelson; her sons, Roger Nelson and Michael Nelson; her great grandchildren, Daisy Nelson and James Keith Damron; her parents, Sampson Lawson and Katie Robbins Lawson; and her siblings, Delphie Nelson, Luther, Letcher, Presley and Lonnie Lawson.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Daugherty, Vickie Massengill (Michael), Jackie LeMarr (Steve), Stanley Nelson, Mark Nelson and Danny Nelson (Wilma). She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren; 26 Great- Grandchildren; and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
