She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Claiborne and Rachel Claiborne; her friend Robert Marlow; her sister-in-law Juanita Claiborne; and her niece Cheryl Claiborne Liles.

She is survived by: her brother Ralph Claiborne; her nephews, Rick Claiborne and David Liles; her close friend Janet Lindsay (Good); and also, Annie and Leon Caldwell. She is also survived by many other cousins, relatives, and special friends.
