He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Sue Marburger; and his parents, E. H. Marburger and Hazel Marburger. He is survived by: his daughter Alice (Darwin Tinch); his stepchildren, Charles Alldrege (Gloria) of California and Trudy Miller of LaFollette; his adoptive son Joshua Marburger of LaFollette; his grandchildren, Christian Tinch, Fredrickia Miller of LaFollette, Danielle Alldrege (Jordan) of Norfolk, VA and Gabriel Alldrege (Gil) of California; and his sisters, Joy Nelson of New Mexico and Maxine Thornton of Texas. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Martin Wilson Funeral Home (305 E Beech St, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the request of the family is to donate to the VA Veterans of Campbell County or LaFollette Church of Christ.
