With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Wayne Hunley of Lafollette, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Fred and Pearl Hunley; and his aunts and uncles, Don, Bill, Paul Hunley, Anna Mae Webb, Bessie Lawson and Sue Watson.
He is survived by: his sons, Dylan Michael Wayne Hunley and Daniel Chase Hunley; his parents, Margaret Browning and Mike Willis; his siblings, Tonya Underwood, Dale and Keith Nelson; his uncles, Carl and Clarence Hunley; his nieces and nephews, Scottie Underwood (Desiree), Whitney Smith (Ryan), Evan and Erica Nelson; and his close friends, Ben, Donna Heuser, Kyle, Shelby Kroner and Chad Albers.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walters Funeral Home - LaFollette (509 E Central Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Jacksboro City Cemetery (200 Stone Henge Ln, Jacksboro, TN 37757).
