It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dana Lynn Smith of Lafollette, Tennessee, who passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitte Smith and Dora Elkins Smith; and his brothers, Delmer, R. L., Dale and Emmitte Jr. Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Alma Sue Cooper Smith of LaFollette; his son Todd Lynn Smith; his granddaughters, Martina and Madison Smith of Anderson County; his parents-in-law, Clifford and Ruth Cooper; and his sister Margie Silcox.
