He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sewell and Dorothy Edelson (McMillan). He is survived by: his wife Vicki Sewell (McNeeley); his children, Angela Sewell of Porterdale, GA, Kimberly Dolvin of Monroe, GA, Rebecca Troutman (Reid) of LaFollette and Donn Claiborne of LaFollette; his grandchildren, Ingrid Dolvin of Atlanta, GA, Amelia Dolvin of Augusta, GA, Thomas Robards of LaFollette, Rusty Robards of LaFollette, Mac Robards of LaFollette, Georgia Robards of LaFollette, Mason Troutman of LaFollette and Aiden Troutman of LaFollette; his sister Marilyn Clayton (Bill) of Bremen, GA; and his friends, Charles Ward, Bill McClendon and Pete Wilson.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the LaFollette Methodist Church (808 E Central Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766).
