Carl Hendrix Young Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2025, at the age of 85, Carl Hendrix Young (Lafollette, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Haskie Young and Silvia Young. He is survived by: his granddaughter Dianna Lynn; his wife Mary Edna Young; his son Carl Joel Young (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Aaron Russell (Tracy), Tabitha Russell, Susie Stokes, Kayla Fox and Eli Vowels; and his goddaughter Elizabeth Lawson. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Martin Wilson Funeral Home (305 E Beech St, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Ceder Hill Baptist Church children's playground, Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Mendota, Virgina.
