With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alma Byrd of Lafollette, Tennessee, who passed away on November 30, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Mike D. Ward; her husband Rev. O. P. Byrd; her granddaughter Shannon Byrd; her great grandchildren, Aiden Bolinger and Kristin Leigh Ballenger; and her siblings, John L. Ward, Junior Ward of Billy Ward, R. L, Thelma Brown and Betty Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Byrd (Vickie) of Jacksboro, Rev. Dwane Byrd (Theresa) of Speedwell, Beverly Capps (Carl) of LaFollette, Teresa Burton (Robert) of Jacksboro and Linda Robbins (Paul) of Knoxville; and her siblings, Luther Ward (Pat) of Jacksboro, Fred Ward (Rita) of Crossville and Lois Gibson (Kenneth) of Jacksboro. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
