She was predeceased by: her son Larry "Cabbage" Stevens; her parents, Benjamin Franklin Sewell and Gettie Eula Veatch Sewell; her siblings, Jimmy Sewell and Mary Ann Sewell; and her stepgranddaughter Glenna Renee Cothern.
She is survived by: her son David Stevens (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Kelvin Stevens (Melissa) and Kim Ivey (Wayne); her great grandchildren, Amber Stevens, Emma Stevens, Logan Ivey and Austin Ivey; her brother John Sewell (Melinda); her daughter-in-law Betty Stevens; her stepgrandchildren, Mark Stevens and Donna Shaffer (J. R.); and her nieces and nephews, Sandy Swindle and Stevie Sewell.
