He was predeceased by: his wife Jane Hoskins Brockette; and his parents, Elbert Ray and Beulah Bell Johnson Brockette. He is survived by: his daughter Phyllis Hackett (Mike); his grandson Timothy Hackett (Laura); and his great grandchildren, Ashley of Lafayette and Dillon Hackett of Lafayette.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill General Baptist Church Cemetery.
