She was predeceased by : her husband J. I. Russell; and her mother Lela Pearl Brown Smith. She is survived by : her children, Janet Hargis (Steve) and James L. "Bub" Russell (Doris) of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Erin Gregory, Cassandra Moore, Holly Templeton (Billy) and Greg Russell (Amanda); and her great grandchildren, Ellie, Norah, Lucas and Kelby. She is also survived by Several nieces & nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM and on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home & Memorial Park - Lafayette (997 Hwy 52 E, Lafayette, TN 37083). A burial was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Haysville Cemetery.
