She was predeceased by: her parents, Noel "Monk" Scruggs and Pauline White Scruggs; her husband Bobby Gillihan; and her daughter Shelia Ann Gillihan. She is survived by: her daughter Janice York (Clifton); her grandson Terry York (Debbie); her great grandchildren, Phenix, Damian and Urijah York; her siblings, Cora Jane Chandler (Roland) and Billy Joe Scruggs; and her caregiver Charlotte Keen-Westmoreland. She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
