He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Douglas Scruggs and Dixie Lane Shaw Scruggs. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Ann Whitson Scruggs; his children, Krista Scruggs and Johnnie Scruggs, Jr. (Sarah); his grandchildren, Adriah Scruggs, Ava Scruggs, Abella Scruggs and Jonah Scruggs; and his great grandchild Colson Taylor.

The family respectfully request donations be made to Highpiont Hospice.
