He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. R. Griggs and Ruby Gordon Carr Griggs. He is survived by: his cousin Poke White; his wife Patti Gail Franklin Griggs; his children, Tammy Jones and Troy Griggs (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Matt Jones (Susan), Mason Jones (Chelsea), Lauran Moore (Rusty), Hunter Griggs and Markus Jones; his great grandchildren, Weston Jones, Maysea Jones, Halle Jones, Jay Warner, Maylee Jones and Asher Moore; and his aunt Betty Wooten. He is also survived by ten Four Sisters-in-law, Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
