He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Elizabeth Cothron Woodmore; his parents, Ward Wilson "Willie" Woodmore and Betty Elizabeth Brawner Woodmore; his grandsons, Troy Barber and Matthew Thornton; and his great great grandchild Mason Hesson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Paulette McFerrin (George), Sherry Shadowens (Ronnie) and Melinda Thornton (Jimmy); and his grandchildren, Anthony Barber, LeAnne Whittemore (Dewayne "Winkie" Deric), Joel McFerrin, Devonna Hesson and Danny Thornton Eighteen. He is also survived by Eighteen Great-Grandchildren, seven Great-Great-Grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
