We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2025, at the age of 73, James Richard Haskins of Lafayette, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Genie Haskins and Louise Cliburn Haskins; and his brothers, Jerry Haskins, Gordon Haskins, Larry Haskins, Stanley Haskins and Robby Haskins.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Massey Haskins of Lafayette; his children, Janet Dickens (Troy) of Lafayette, Natosha Benning (Stephen) of Las Vegas, NV, Brittany Lee (Jonathan) of Lafayette and Dr. Jordan Haskins (Andrea) of St. Joseph, MO; his grandchildren, Hunter, Hallie Dickens, Henry Benning, Jayden, Brylen, Jonah Lee, Emberlynn, Adelyn, Abram and Emmet Haskins; and his siblings, Precilla Smith (Harold) of Gallatin, Lachelle Wix of Westmoreland, Leon Haskins of Hendersonville, Kenneth Haskins (Sylvia) of Gallatin, Gary Haskins (Sharon) and Scott Hauskins (Amber) of Watertown.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Anderson & Son Funeral Home & Memorial Park - Lafayette (997 Hwy 52 E, Lafayette, TN 37083). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the same location.
