He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Oliver and Effie Prater; his wife Patricia C Prater of Lafayette, TN.; his siblings, David Prater (Debra), Dora Welch (Wes) and Betty McEyea; and his close friends, James and Patricia Dakhoo. He was also cherished by 8 step-children, 23 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
