He is survived by: his wife Wyvetta Spradlin Hicks; his siblings, Susie Ross and Jerry Hicks of California; his children, Debra S. Scurlock and Jim Hicks Jr. of Portsmouth; his grandchildren, Brandon Scurlock of Wyoming, Bronwyn Scurlock of Colorado and Barrett Scurlock of Nevada; and his great grandchildren, Lauryn, Gwen Scurlock of Wyoming, Avery, Ayanna and Aislynn Breitigam of Colorado. He is also survived by many friends over his life-time that he shared this passion with including his children, his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren.
