He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Cardwell and Agnes Orlee Simpkins Cardwell. He is survived by: his wife Jessica Kay McGowan Cardwell; his children, James C. Cardwell (April), Brandy Cardwell, Amanda Cardwell and Amber Cardwell; his sisters, Kathy Georgie (Vince), Loretta Mooneyhan, Donna Manier and Angie Rowe; and his grandchildren, Lane Cardwell, Ellie S. Cardwell, Allie Fleming, Derrik Fleming, Miley Cochran, Colton Melton, Lily Cardwell, Carson Cardwell, Logen Cardwell and Jeremiah Cardwell.

Family respectfully request donations be made toward the funeral expense.
