He was predeceased by: his father George Ann; his son-in-law Todd Whitley; and his siblings, Ann Pollard, Shirley Boyd, Hugh Boyd, Neil Boyd and Ronnie Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Boyd; his children, Cindy Boyd Whitley and Michael Boyd (Dana Lee); his grandchildren, Damien Boyd, Chelsey Whitley, Taylor Whitley, Ryder Boyd and Jaxtyn Boyd; his great grandchild Lucy Boyd; his siblings, Darrel Boyd of Lafayette, Gary (Sharon Boyd), Danny (Connie Boyd) and Jo Carolyn Yelvington of Knoxville; and his sisters-in-law, JoNell Wilburn, Mary Dee Smith, Pam, K. C. Henry and Shirley Ann Brawner.
