He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lee Ober and Georgia Ida Philson Ober; and his siblings, Valerie Brokus, Georgia Haught, Harry Ober and George Ober.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Black Ober; and his children, Mary Shubitowski (Tammy), Kariann Willis, Terry Shubitowski (April) and Kevin Mortimer (Sabrina). He is also survived by Eleven Grandchildren, three Great-Granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews.
