He is survived by: his wife Wynona Atwell Clayborne; his sons, Wes (Whitney Clayborne) of Lafayette and Orry Clayborne of Memphis; his grandchildren, Gavin, Greenley, Reagan, Piper and Baker Clayborne; his siblings, Kenneth (Louise Clayborne) of Melbourne, FL, Lee (Pat Clayborne) of Columbia, Steve (Betty Sue Clayborne) of Lafayette and Agnes Bartlett of Gallatin; and his sisters-in-law, Melinda (Jeff Downing) of Fountain Run, KY and Audrey (Terry Howser) of Haysville.

The family request memorials be made to the Haysville Cemetery, Macon County Sports Hall of Fame, or the Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund.
