He was predeceased by: his wife Darlene Bandy Smith; and his parents, Donald Smith and Rita Watson Smith. He is survived by: his children, Amber East (Scott) and Toby Smith (Kayla Jones); his granddaughter Kiera Dyer; his siblings, Dwight Smith (Martha J. T. Smith) and Teresa Smith; his mother-in-law Wilma Bandy; his siblings-in-law, Wanda Morgan (Steve Dorris Bandy), Terry Dozier, David Bandy (Patty Michael Bandy) and Missy Charlie Bandy (Heather Billy Bandy); and his close friend Brittany Sparks A.

The family respectfully request donations be made towards the funeral expense.
