He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy Lee Jones Overton; his parents, James Herley and Myra Maybell Minick Overton; and his siblings, Johnnie Lewis, Halqua of Darrell, C. T., Talmadge Overton, Juanita Overton Beasley and Viola Overton Estes.
He is survived by: his daughter Dana Lynch (Del); his granddaughters, Delaney Lynch of Crofton and Darcy Lynch of Crofton; his sister Dottie Hawkins (Billy Joe); and his sisters-in-law, Sandra Overton of Lafayette and Lucky Collins (Franck) of Lafayette.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Anderson & Son Memorial Park (997 Hwy 52 E, Lafayette, TN 37083). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the same location.
Family requests memorials be made to the Lafayette United Methodist Church Food Bank.
