He is survived by: his wife Melissa Scruggs; his son Mason; his daughter-in-law Abbey Scruggs; his daughters, Paisley Scruggs and Ziva Scruggs; his parents, Andy Scruggs and Donna McCrory; his grandson Conor Scruggs of Lafayette; his grandparents, Charles and Kay McCrory; and his aunts and uncles, David McCrory of Portland, Bill, Ann McCrory of Crossplains, Jane Phillips of Hartsville, Pat of Hartsville, Tommy Dixon of Hartsville and Deb Ruud of Hartsville.

The family also respectfully asks that anyone attending the visitation or the service to please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
