He is survived by: his brother Juan Jose Barrera; his sister-in-law Juanita Barrera; and his nieces and nephews, Andres Barrera, Siguifredo Barrera, Juan Barrera, Daniel Barrera, Maria Barrera, Jael Barrera and Esther Barrera. He is also survived by his 33 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
