He was predeceased by: his parents, James Emmett Nance, Jr. and Hilda Lorene Nance (Baker) of Nashville; and his sisters, Lorene Nance Lockwood and Carolyn Nance Marx. He is survived by: his wife Billye Jane Fox Nance; his children, Karen Nance Durham of La Vergne, TN and Mark Todd Nance of La Vergne; his grandson Steven Durham (Tabitha); his great grandchildren, Lois and Leah Durham of Nashville; and his brother James (Jan Nance) of Stamping Ground, KY..
