He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Whitaker and Evie Whitaker; his wife Tina Marie Whitaker; his children, Ray Whitaker and Christy Whitaker; and his sisters, Ruby Redmond, Helen Staton, Adaner McNeal, Sally Mathaney and Diane Marshall.
He is survived by: his sons, Joshua Whitaker and Stephen Cody Whitaker; his siblings, Robert Allen Whitaker and Shirley Colter; his grandchildren, Jada, Jordan, Hunter, Emily, Zaylon and Caiden; his great grandchildren, Jackson and Kyleigh; and also, Jeremy Whitaker and Christy Whitaker.
