He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Bell Newman and John H. Amos; and his sister Brenda Kay Warren. He is survived by: his siblings, Bill (Bessie Amos), Bobby Amos (Jessica Amos) of Kyles Ford and Mary Collins of Sneedville; and his nieces and nephews, Bobbie Jean Mills, Norma Jean Amos, Audrey Collins, June Bowlin, Anna Tankersley, Pearlie LIvesay, Eve Ferguson, Tabitha Amos, Greta Hundley, Hazel, Savannah Amos, Linda Sue, Willie Amos of David Amos, B. J, Eugene Fuget, K. P. Collins, Virgil Collins, Michael Martin, Jerry Martin, Roger Baker and Thomas Martin.
