He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Nichols and Virgie Nichols; his siblings, Echol Nichols, Lois Roberts and Velma Baker; and his son George Lenn Nichols.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Ellen Nichols; his daughter Gerlene Patterson of Morristown; his grandchildren, Adam Lenn Nichols of Kyles Ford, Thomas and Chrispher of Morristown; his daughter-in-law Brenda Nichols of Kyles Ford; and his siblings, Hubert Nichols (Mary), Orgaline, Molly, Shelva, Liz, Bobbie June, Gert (Ralph) and Marlyn A. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
