She is survived by: her children, Bobby Newman (Tonya), Dale Newman (Julie) and Steve Newman; her close friend Johnnie Smallwood; her daughter-in-law Tammy Newman; her grandchildren, Alesha, Mashaya, Carson, Hannah, Haley, Tyler, Mason and Dalana; and her siblings, Larry, Phil Davis and Joann Waters. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
