With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Jack Whaley of Kodak, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 23, 2025 at the age of 62. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael Jack Whaley to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce M. Whaley; and his father Jack E. Whaley of Kodak. He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Huskey (Nick) and Jacklyn Whaley (Andrew); his grandchildren, Gage, Collin, Alexis "Lexi Jo", Jackson, Parker and Preston; his mother Patricia Gene Whaley; his siblings, Janie Lynn Lane (Bill) and Jamie Von Whaley (Jennifer); his brother-in-law John Comley; and his girlfriend Amy Loyd. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Crossing Church (2941 Douglas Dam Rd, Kodak, TN 37764). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Underwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts be made to Legacy Christian School of The Crossing Church, 2941 Douglas Dam Road - Kodak, TN 37764.
