She was predeceased by: her parents, P. W. Cate and Lena Lavista Bryan Cate; her husband Bobby Bruce Holbert; and her son Phil Holbert. She is survived by: her daughter Connie; her son-in-law David Allen of Andersonville, TN; her grandchildren, Sara Allen of Charleston, SC, Emily Allen Crotta (Mark) of Clovis, NM, David R. Allen II (Kayla) of Norfolk, VA, Rachael Allen Denmark (Zac) of Ft. Mill, SC, Ethan Allen (Patience) of Rapid City, SD, Laura Byrd of Kodak, TN and Sarita Holbert of Knoxville, TN; her daughter-in-law Kim Holbert Bates; her sister Willie Cate; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Mendenhall, Betty Cate and Barbara Cate. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
