It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Hunter McGill of Kodak, Tennessee, who passed away on August 1, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Judith Hunter may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Judith Hunter touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hunter Hunter and Eulala Hunter; and her siblings, Marcelle Bell and Erwin Hunter. She is survived by: her children, Michael Lavonne Howell Torbert (Sherry), Sharon Torbert Sharpe (Richard) and Amanda Marci Elliott (Robert Edwards); and her grandchildren, Brittany McGowan (Chris), John David Durham (Carolina), Elizabeth Sharpe (Alex Spears), Chris Sharpe and Rebecca Cooper (Garrett). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and cousin.
