He was predeceased by: his wife Sharron Kay; his parents, George Galbraith and Stella Ladd Galbraith; and his brothers, Bill, Hal and Bud.

He is survived by: his children, Stephanie and Stephen (Tammy); his grandchildren, Blake (Sarah), Jessica (Jeff), Dylan, Sean and Haley; his great grandchildren, Harper and Carly; and his sister Ann (Tim).
