She was predeceased by: her parents, Elward, Sr. Phillips and Gladys Phillips; her son Darris Owens; and her brother Grady Phillips. She is survived by: her son Mark; her daughter-in-law Kinberly Owens; her daughter Denise Howell; her grandchildren, Jacob Smith, Shelby Wallace and Elizabeth Owens; and her sister-in-law Gene. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
