He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Campbell and Hazel Wherry Campbell; his former wife Barbara Lee Swesey Campbell; and his siblings, John R., Allen M. Campbell, Betty Jean Blouir, Juanita Haddox and Freda Nesselroade.

He is survived by: his wife Lula Smith Campbell; his daughter Ruth Dehner; and his stepchildren, Rita, Danny, Allen Jr., Lena, Andy and Carol.
