He is survived by: his wife Ella Mae Lane; his children, James Lane (Janice) and Denise Painter (John); his stepchildren, Jimmy Maples (Janet), Sherry Blalock (Clark), Bernice Lafollette (Steve) and Johnny Maples; and his son-in-law Darren Gilmore. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
