She was predeceased by: her husband Hal; and her parents, John Ruggles and Lola Ruggles. She is survived by: her children, Hal Sherrod (Becky), Gary Sherrod (Mary) and Lola McGill (David); and her grandchildren, Josh Sherrod, Kenny Sherrod, Carrie Mitchell, Casey Sherrod and Lucas McGill. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 9:45 AM at the Caledonia Cemetery (7817 N Ruggles Ferry Pike, Knoxville, TN 37924). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
