He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill and Mary; his daughter Maryjane; and his grandson Brian. He is survived by: his wife Annie "Ruth"; his children, Patty, Connie, Truman, Jr. and Dennis; and his stepdaughters, Lisa and Karen.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 12:15 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Rose Mortuary (1421 N Broadway, Knoxville, TN 37917). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920).
