He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clifford and Barbara Snyder, Sr.; and his siblings, Kathy Boggs, Amy McCarter, Sheila Moody and Eddie Snyder.

He is survived by: his wife Celia Snyder (Tapp); his children, Dustin Hawkins (Selena), Thomas Snyder, Jr. (Ashley), Joshua Snyder (Missy), Brian Wittmer (Nikki) and Brandon Wittmer (Brittany); his siblings, Sharon Bundren (Charlie), Jim Snyder, Jr. (Cathy), Marty Snyder (Tonya) and Mike Snyder (Carletta); his siblings-in-law, Gloria Tapp and David Tapp; and his nephews, Cayden Tapp Yarbrough, Moonpie, Bizzy, Perada and Max. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
