She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hill and Rena Hill (Hatmaker); her husband Jerry Lee Godfrey; her nephew Tim Hutcheson; her brother-in-law Kenneth Wayne Godfrey; her father-in-law Robin Sweet; and her brother Charles Hill (Chuck).
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Godfrey of Halls, TN, Robin Raby (Godfrey) of Middlesboro, KY and Jerry C Godfrey (Mychelle); her grandchildren, Kendall Johnson, Mark Johnson, Ethan Godfrey, Orion Zerby, Alexandra Claymore, Angela Tallent, Olivia Orr and Josie Orr; her siblings, Wes Hill (Carolyn) of Heiskell, TN, Les Hill (Carolyn) of Manchester, KY and Pat Hutcheson (Mike) of Andersonville, TN; and her nieces and nephews, Paul Hill, Donald Boening, Dean Hill, Shane Hill, Amanda Irwin (Hutcheson) and Shawna Harness (Hill).
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Halls Chapel (4131 E Emory Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 2:45 PM and at 3:00 PM at the Asbury Cemetery (5100 Asbury Cemetery Rd, Knoxville, TN 37914).
