She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Claudia and Carlos Raymond Witt, Sr.; her brothers, Carlos Raymond Witt, Jr. and James Harold Witt (Bud); her sons, Mitchell Glenn Whaley and Gregory Whaley; her grandson Cory Whaley; and her former husband Glenn Whaley.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jeanne West, Ben Witt (Elaine) and Bill Witt (Judy); and her grandson Kelson Edwards. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel (2829 Rennoc Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lynnhurst Cemetery (2300 Adair Dr, Knoxville, TN 37918).
