She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Nelson and Mabel Nelson; her in-laws, Clarence and Ada Dietz; and her sister-in-law Cathy Dietz.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Dietz; her children, Steven Dietz and Lisa Dietz Rives (Todd); her sister Liz Reinecke (Fred); her brother-in-law Dennis Dietz; her grandchildren, Lincoln and Emilie Murr; her stepgrandchildren, Dale and Raley Rives; and her nieces and nephews, Susan Reinecke, Scott Reinecke (Karen), Ryan Dietz and Laura Jones (Juan).
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Concord United Methodist Church (11020 Roane Dr, Knoxville, TN 37934). A reception was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CADES Adult Day Services at Concord United Methodist Church.
