She was predeceased by: her husband Hugh M. Fawver; her son Hugh E. Fawver; her parents, Herman McPherson and Alma McPherson; and her brothers, Raymond McPherson (Betty), Herman McPherson Jr. (Betty) and Lynn McPherson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Clark (Larry) and Becky Benson (Eddie); her grandson Craig Clark (April); and her sister-in-law Linda McPherson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mausoleum Chapel at Highland Memorial Cemetery (5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ruth's name should be made to Holston Health & Rehab Center, Life Enrichment Dept., 3916 Boyd's Bridge Pike, Knoxville, TN 37914.
